Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Take ownership of the Fondue product and its architecture, becoming the technical expert for cashback and incentives systems.
• Independently investigate, design, and execute solutions across evolving distributed systems with high ambiguity.
• Drive system decoupling and modularization, breaking down monolithic dependencies into independently deployable components.

Technical Environment and Requirements:

• Experience building large-scale backend systems with Typescript, and familiarity with Go, Python, or Java is valued.
• Comfortable using AI-first development tools like Claude Code or Cursor and experienced with autoscaling on Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, SQL, database modeling, and observability tools like Datadog on AWS.
