As a Member Care Advocate, you will be a representative of this mission, acting as a guide to help members navigate their healthcare benefits. This role simplifies healthcare for our members by handling high-volume interactions and owning their healthcare journey. Responsibilities include providing empathetic support by answering calls and chats, managing inquiries, and resolving complex cases to minimize member effort. You will assist members in resolving health plan-related questions, access services, obtain second opinions, and connect members to other healthcare resources. Empower members through education by explaining available benefits and helping members understand their healthcare options. Use internal tools and external benefits information to determine the best course of action, utilizing systems like VoIP phone systems, Google apps, Apple products, and CRM software. Ensure all interactions meet high-quality standards, focusing on delivering empathetic, efficient, and member-focused service.
