Job Description
The Sales Manager drives group room nights and catering revenue for Rio Las Vegas. The position can be on-site or remote-based in a regional market and will manage a defined market, soliciting and closing business through multiple business development strategies. Responsibilities include maintaining customer service, building customer relationships on behalf of Rio Las Vegas, soliciting new group business, meeting revenue goals, understanding market trends, using the sales system, generating and responding to RFPs, and negotiating contracts. Coordinate with team members to ensure coverage at all pre-con meetings, maintain strong presence and entertain customers while groups are on-site, and develop strong inter- and intra-departmental relations. This also includes creating and executing a strategic plan for business development and personal growth.
