Pipeline Simulation Engineer

About the Role:

• Be a technical authority on hydraulic behavior, and responsible for building, maintaining, and analyzing simulation models.
• Bridge the gap between theoretical fluid dynamics and real-world operations.
• Utilize simulation tools to ensure an accurate digital representation of customer assets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop steady state and transient hydraulic model enhancements, and provide inputs to the development team.
• Troubleshoot operational anomalies by replicating field events in the simulation environment.
• Continually champion and drive the automation and optimization of the hydraulic simulation modelling process.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with customers to ensure the quality of the input data to the simulation models.
• Define simulation model scope and estimate delivery timelines.
• Produce comprehensive documentation throughout the simulation model lifecycle.
