Senior Community Manager (Events)

In this role as a Senior Community Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management and support of the dbt meetup program, including onboarding, training, and communication. You will empower and coach organizers to plan, promote, and host impactful meetups, as well as support organizers in developing content strategies. You'll build scalable systems, resources, and toolkits to help organizers run effective events and partner with other community program owners to align efforts across the dbt community ecosystem. Further responsibilities include managing the program budget, creating a global community events calendar, monitoring key performance metrics, and collaborating with internal teams to amplify local stories. Additional duties include managing crisis situations, recruiting new organizers, managing relationships with local sponsors, managing tools for event registration, and creating systems to recognize active organizers.
