What You'll Do:
- Produce accurate transcriptions of spoken Japanese audio
- Clean up and correct Japanese audio transcripts
- Follow detailed transcription, style, and formatting guidelines
What We're Looking For:
- Native speaker of Japanese with strong listening skills
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently without direct supervision
- Self-motivated and reliable with attention to detail
Nice to Haves:
- Previous transcriptionist or court reporter experience
- Background in subtitle or closed-captioning editing
- Experience with annotation platforms or linguistics
Logistics:
- Fully remote contract role, 10–39 hours per week expected
- Compensation of $10–$35 USD per hour
- Weekly lump-sum payments for work completed
