Urgent Care Physician, Independent Contractor

Responsibilities:

• Perform age-appropriate history and virtual examinations, diagnose, recommend treatment plans, and document findings.
• Request consultations or referrals, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and counsel patients.
• Manage pediatric and adult acute care, chronic disease, and mental health conditions.

Qualifications:

• Completion of residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine, with 3+ years post-residency urgent care or primary care experience.
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification, active state medical license(s), and U.S. Medical Licensing Examination completion.
• Multi-state licensure preferred, with telemedicine experience and Athena EMR familiarity.

Scheduling & Compensation:

• Recommend minimum 25% of prescheduled time on weekends and after 5pm, with 90% schedule adherence.
• Per-visit rate ranges from $28.50 to $33.00, based on monthly hours, with higher rates for greater commitments.
• Compensation is structured transparently, with final rate determined by scheduled hours and business needs.
