Principal Software Engineer

Role Overview:

• Design, build, and evolve modern best-in-class platform software solutions for Personal Lines insurance products.
• Work in a hybrid agile environment with the creative and technical passion of a start-up and the full backing of a Fortune 100 company.
• Rapidly iterate and deliver software while shaping strategic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop error-free source code, test scripts, components, and system architectures.
• Translate customer requirements into technical applications and support implementation.
• Coach and collaborate with junior software engineers, identifying opportunities to enhance performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8+ years delivering software in large distributed systems using agile practices.
• Proficient with Java, Spring Boot, REST, Kafka, Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD tools.
