Project Architect – Canonical Data Modeling & IT/OT Integration

Trissential is looking for a seasoned architect passionate about bridging the gap between IT and OT systems. This role will lead the development of enterprise-wide canonical data models that drive interoperability, analytics, and operational excellence. As a Project Architect, you will design and develop scalable canonical data models for key business entities across IT and OT domains, and architect integration strategies using canonical models to connect ERP, MES, PLM, SCADA, DCS, and IoT systems. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to define data structures, semantic rules, and transformation requirements, recommending and implementing integration technologies (e.g., Kafka, MuleSoft, Boomi, OPC UA, MQTT), and leading workshops to resolve data discrepancies and gain consensus on data definitions. The role also includes establishing data governance practices and ensuring data quality across systems, providing architectural oversight, and maintaining documentation, staying current with industry trends in IT/OT convergence, ISA-95, and Industry 4.0.
