Claims Adjuster I

What you'll do:

• Manage mid-level general liability claims by gathering information to determine liability exposure and assigning reserve values.
• Assess liability, approve and process claims, determine benefits due, and manage action plans pursuant to claim or client contract.
• Manage subrogation of claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate claim action with claimants and clients.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Four years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Subject matter expertise in insurance principles, laws, recoveries, offsets, and cost containment.
