Policy Interpretation
Role Overview:
- Independently manage moderate to complex general liability claims, from initial investigation through negotiation and resolution.
- Manage litigated claims while collaborating closely with defense counsel and external partners.
Key Accountabilities:
- Evaluate liability, damages, coverage, and financial exposure to establish effective claim strategies and reserves.
- Negotiate settlements within delegated authority and maintain complete, accurate claim documentation.
- Deliver proactive client service and ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- At least 5 years of experience handling general liability or multiline property and casualty claims.
- Strong litigation management, negotiation, and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; a New York adjuster license is preferred.
