Senior Software Engineer, Accounts - Core

About the Team:

• The Accounts team owns the customer account lifecycle, from registration and login to identity verification and responsible gaming controls.
• Accuracy and customer trust are our core tenets, as customers trust us with their money, identity, and personal data.

What You'll Do:

• Design and build Java backend services that enforce regulatory and responsible gaming requirements like geolocation, self-exclusion, and loss limits.
• Integrate third-party identity, verification, geolocation, and compliance providers, designing for failure, retries, and data integrity.
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions for APIs, event-driven systems, and data flows.

What We're Looking For:

• You bring 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java and strong experience building production services with Spring Boot.
• You have experience with event-driven architectures like Kafka, cloud environments like AWS, and relational and NoSQL data stores.
• You're a strong communicator who can work independently and with cross-functional partners, and you're excited to mentor junior engineers.
