Cloud Architect - AWS Experience

Role Overview:

• This full-time remote contractor role is based in Brazil and focuses on leading complex cloud transformation projects.
• You will shape cloud architectures for migration, modernization, and DevOps initiatives, helping customers build scalable and secure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discussions with customers and present AWS architecture solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and implement cloud architectures, guide customers through transformation, and partner with Project Managers to define roadmaps.
• Act as technical escalation point, develop proofs of concept, and mentor team members on AWS services and best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.
• Proven experience leading AWS migration and modernization projects, with strong DevOps expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
• Solid understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and excellent client-facing communication skills.

Additional Information:

• Applicants must currently be based in Brazil and have advanced English communication skills.
• AWS Professional or Specialty certifications are highly valued, and experience with data, ML, or AI is a nice to have.
