Patient Accounts Rep

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily billing functions including claim edits, insurance claim review, and follow-up on unpaid claims.
• Contact various parties for further information and work first level appeals in compliance with policies.

Essential Skills:

• Timely resolution of claim edits to ensure timely claim submission.
• Timely follow-up of unpaid claims to ensure maximum reimbursement.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Microsoft Office tools.
• Preferred: previous patient billing experience and Epic experience.
