Overview:
- MGO is a top CPA and advisory firm seeking a Director to lead the Public Sector Consulting practice with a focus on regulatory compliance and grants management.
- This role serves state and local governments, public agencies, higher education institutions, and nonprofits receiving public funding.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead complex public sector consulting engagements from planning through completion, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Serve as primary advisor to agency executives on regulatory compliance, grants management, risk assessments, and operational improvement.
- Drive business development, proposal leadership, and talent development within the practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Accounting, or related field; Master’s preferred with 10+ years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal grants, Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
- Professional certification required (CPA, CIA, CFE, PMP, CISA, or CGFM).
