Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing transfer requests, verifying all patient and prescription data.
- Review account billing for accuracy and communicate changes accordingly with patients.
- Coordinate patient profiles with appropriate pharmacy support and services.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional customer service skills; servicing doctor’s office, pharmacist, and patient needs over the phone.
- Ability to think critically and document pertinent details in a world class manner that is compliant with state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA).
- Ability to perform in an office based (or remote) setting that requires sitting at a desk 90% of the time.
