Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming and outgoing transfer requests, verifying all patient and prescription data.
  • Review account billing for accuracy and communicate changes accordingly with patients.
  • Coordinate patient profiles with appropriate pharmacy support and services.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional customer service skills; servicing doctor’s office, pharmacist, and patient needs over the phone.
  • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details in a world class manner that is compliant with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
  • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA).
  • Ability to perform in an office based (or remote) setting that requires sitting at a desk 90% of the time.
