Role and Position Objectives:
- Designing and building APIs for AI/agent consumption that expose business concepts and metrics.
- Building the logic that turns a business question into a validated, governed query.
- Ensuring governed answers with access controls and data-sensitivity handling.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Strong backend service engineering with REST or gRPC services.
- Demonstrated API design for AI/agent consumption and tool-calling interfaces.
- Experience with semantic or metrics layers like dbt Semantic Layer, Cube, LookML.
