Staff Engineer

What you'll do:

• Architect and build production-grade internal AI tools and shared platform capabilities used by teams across Fullscript.
• Lead the technical design and delivery of complex AI integrations, including MCP-based tool use, agentic workflows, and model gateways.
• Independently take ambiguous business problems from technical discovery through implementation, deployment, measurement, and ongoing operation.

What you bring to the table:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including impact as a technical leader on complex production systems.
• Hands-on experience building and operating AI-enabled applications in production, with familiarity in MCP or comparable tool-use protocols.
• Deep backend engineering expertise in Ruby, Python, or a comparable language, along with strong systems-design fundamentals.
