Client Relationship and Compliance:
- Maintains client relationships and ensures high retention rates by interpreting plan documents and communicating improvements.
- Provides timely customer service and issue resolution to clients and advisors, ensuring compliance with ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations for qualified retirement plans.
Plan Administration and Analysis:
- Analyzes census data to determine eligibility and calculates employer contributions based on plan provisions and client requests.
- Performs annual non-discrimination tests, discusses results with clients, and prepares government forms while working with auditors.
- Identifies and processes RMD distributions for eligible participants and determines required plan corrections.
Operational Coordination and Communication:
- Works with administrators to meet deadlines and conducts annual year-end clean-up activities for client plans.
- Leads client and advisor calls, participates in onboarding document calls, and reviews timeliness of employee deferral remittances.
