Senior Property Accountant I

Position Overview:

• Responsible for performing accounting and financial reporting activities for assigned property portfolios.
• Supports the monthly close process and contributes to high-quality client service delivery.
• Works within a defined market or client portfolio, supporting the Controller, Accounting Manager, and Accounting Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statement packages and record journal entries.
• Perform general ledger analysis and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results and prepare variance explanations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 3-6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in property accounting or real estate.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with property accounting systems like Yardi or MRI.
