Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide pre-attending care for patients, and perform comprehensive assessments of patient needs.
- Perform routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medication administration, and measurement of vital signs.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments in order to coordinate appropriate patient care.
- Triage and prioritize incoming telephone calls.
Patient Education:
- Initiate and coordinate patient education.
- Ensure that patients understand educational materials.
- Provide teaching to staff on both a formal and informal basis.
