Clinical Auditor

Clinical Documentation Review and Reporting:

• Assess clinical documentation for compliance with federal and payer guidelines.
• Validate charges, evaluate billing accuracy, and identify improvement areas.
• Conduct face-to-face provider education and submit audit reports to leadership.

Clinical Coding Research and Education:

• Participate in OIG Work Plan development and research coding inquiries.
• Provide training sessions to coding and billing staff on documentation standards.
• Monitor payment status and update coding department newsletters and references.

Qualifications and Benefits:

• Requires high school diploma; preference for AAS in Health Information Management.
• Must obtain AHIMA or AAPC coding certification within 12 months.
