Responsible for maximizing standardization opportunities and minimizing the need for local agreements. Works closely with business owners to develop Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents. Effectively negotiates with vendors to achieve the needs of UnityPoint Health.

Research and resolve Tier 1 HR system problems, recommending solutions or alternate methods. Provide daily support for HR systems, processing record changes and monitoring daily jobs. Document system and business processes for business and technical audiences.

Responsible for assisting in managing Epic in baskets including but not limited to results, orders, and patient messages. Complete tasks within scope of certification, licensure and competency as delegated by provider to support patient care. Provider appropriate and timely documentation in the patient’s electronic medical record using standardized workflows and processes
