Staff Accountant III

ZipRecruiter is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant III that possesses solid communication, organizational and analytical skills. This position will be an integral part of the general ledger close and will report to the Manager, Accounting. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, strong financial analysis skills and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that seeks to improve existing processes as we scale our business while collaborating with Marketing, Legal, Product, FP&A, and Technology to serve as a trusted liaison in cross functional capacities. The candidate will play an integral role in the general ledger month-end closing process, prepare journal entries, and reconcile accounts. They will also manage accounting processes, support audits, and identify opportunities to streamline processes using automation.
