Responsibilities:
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across all legal entities, leading a team of 25+.
- Lead technical accounting for mortgage banking instruments, including loans held for sale, MSRs, and hedges.
- Oversee SEC reporting, SOX controls, and regulatory filings.
Qualifications:
- Active CPA with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 and industry.
- 3+ years in mortgage banking or specialty finance accounting with hands-on exposure to loans held for sale and MSRs.
- Track record of improving accounting functions through automation and systems implementations.
