Project Manager - Applied AI Engineering

AECOM TechWorks has supported our customers in some of their most challenging times, helping both public and private sector clients collect, manage, process, store, and exploit data. We are seeking a technically adept and highly organized Project Manager for Applied AI Engineering to lead and coordinate innovative AI initiatives. This role is designed for a civil engineering candidate with a strong foundation in machine learning, computer vision, and engineering systems, combined with demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects from concept to deployment. This is a remote position tied to the TechWorks core office in Germantown, MD. The Project Manager will contribute to the development of reusable frameworks and best practices for applied AI, translate complex technical concepts into actionable project plans, and support the deployment of AI systems in operational environments. They will also manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans across multiple concurrent initiatives and prepare and deliver briefings and reports to communicate progress.
