New Finance Engineer

What you'll do:

• Build and own client-facing financial dashboards with interactive models, scenario sliders, and drill-down tables.
• Build AI automations that turn billing spreadsheets into reconciled invoices with approval gates.
• Write database queries and connect them to live client accounting data.

Who you are:

• You have deep expertise in both finance and engineering, with real accounting knowledge and software development experience.
• You have built AI tools, not just used them, and can work with databases and APIs.
• You are comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment and communicating clearly with clients.

What this job isn't:

• Not a reporting role focused on producing monthly financial packages.
• Not a coordinator between finance and engineering; you build directly.
• Not a management role in the first year, and not a place to learn accounting on the job.

Compensation and benefits:

• Competitive base salary of $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
