Job Description
Directs and coordinates the assessment, plan, implementation, and evaluation of projects relating to the acquisition of hardware and software. Assigns Technology staff and coordinates with departmental personnel in a matrix relationship to various projects and directs their activities for the project. Confers with software/hardware vendors and other third parties regarding new products, problems, enhancements, and implementations. Assumes overall responsibility for all projects within group. Develops, designs, implements functional/integration testing, and supports information systems. Provides consulting and advanced technical leadership to assist others in solving complex technical problems. Supervises work schedules to ensure proper balance of tasks and project resources. Reviews personnel performance and makes recommendations for improvement. Establishes business partnerships with vendors. Defines metrics and develops action plans based on results. Maintains knowledge of disaster recovery procedures.
