Deputy Editor, Future Perfect

This is a permanent, full-time position where you will manage and edit three staff writers — soliciting ideas, selecting stories, editing text and managing their advancement at Vox Media. You will edit our biweekly newsletter on Processing Meat, written by Kenny Torrella. You will also assist the Future Perfect editorial director in setting and keeping priorities, both daily and over the medium and long term projects — especially in the area of agriculture and animal welfare — and stepping in to help lead the staff as a whole when he is away. You will also commission and edit occasional pieces for the Future Perfect site.
