Software Engineer, Proactive Security

Our Security Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer to lead the design, development and operation of security services within DoorDash’s Product and Cloud Security domains. You will be part of our inclusive, collaborative global team responsible for building “paved paths” to ensure a safe, reliable and resilient delivery network. You will build and maintain core security products, partner with cross-functional teams, lead technical direction, and maintain high Operational Excellence. The role involves participating in on-call rotation, managing the lifecycle of security product feature requests, influencing engineering standards, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of software engineering experience in security or infrastructure, a track record of improving infrastructure security, and expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure-as-code tooling like Terraform.
