Financial Operations & Reporting:
- Manage full month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee outsourced bookkeeping and internal FTE to maintain high standards.
- Prepare clear management reporting packages for leadership and the board.
FP&A & Business Partnership:
- Lead annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning as a strategic tool.
- Build financial models for scenario planning, headcount, and revenue projections.
- Partner with department heads to track spend and surface actionable insights.
Revenue & SaaS Metrics:
- Own SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and payback period.
- Handle AI credits and consumption-based revenue accounting with margin analysis.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition under ASC 606 and track unit economics.
Systems & Process Ownership:
- Manage finance tech stack from accounting software to billing and reporting tools.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across the function.
- Support audit, tax, regulatory compliance, and sales tax filings across jurisdictions.
