Role Purpose:
- Supports the day-to-day financial operations of the Legal Department.
- Serves as a primary liaison between outside counsel, Finance, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct ad-hoc spot audits of legal matter bills and ensure billing rate compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as system administrator for legal billing software.
- Support onboarding of outside counsel and legal vendors.
- Act as subject-matter expert for fee arrangements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience handling domestic and international legal billing.
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Windows-based software
