Role Overview:
- You will own the full accounting cycle and partner directly with the CFO.
- You will help build the accounting function from the ground up during a carve-out transition.
- You will lead month-end close, audit readiness, and process implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and DCAA requirements, including indirect rates and contract billing.
- Lead ERP selection and implementation, and design streamlined reporting tools.
Requirements:
- CPA required with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong command of GAAP and ASC 606, with B2B SaaS and government contracting experience preferred.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar government-contract-capable ERP is strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Target total compensation is USD 115,000–145,000 per year.
- Remote role with flexibility around core hours of 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Eastern.
