Founding Platform Engineer

About the Role:

• You’ll be the first dedicated platform engineer, building the technical foundation that powers products and enables engineering teams to move faster.
• You’ll partner with the CTO and Sr Engineering Manager to define the vision, architecture, and roadmap for Platform Engineering.
• This is a unique opportunity to build both the platform and the organization from the ground up.

What You'll Do:

• Architect, build, and operate highly scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails and Kubernetes.
• Improve developer productivity through CI/CD, automation, internal tooling, and engineering best practices.
• Build and evolve the AI platform including LLM orchestration, billing, and enterprise integrations.

Who You Are:

• You have 10+ years of software engineering experience with expert-level Ruby on Rails and strong React skills.
• You have deep experience with distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• You are a builder with a passion for creating platforms that enable other engineers to move faster.
