Software Development Manager

Role responsibilities:

• Create an environment where developers can do their best work by removing blockers early, fostering collaboration.
• Build strong communication rhythms within the team so we stay aligned on priorities and make decisions that balance customer needs with technical health.
• Support developers in growing their craft through coaching, thoughtful feedback, and modeling a learning mindset.

Required experience:

• Experience guiding teams through planning, delivery, and operational ownership of production systems.
• Track record of improving engineering practices in partnership with cross functional peers and supporting teams through change, ambiguity, and growth.
• Comfort balancing short term delivery with long term technical thinking, helping teams navigate both customer value and system reliability.

AI:

• Ensure AI‑assisted work is accurate, secure, and clearly owned, and you share effective patterns.
• Support your team in using AI tools thoughtfully and responsibly across the development lifecycle.
• Establish team-level best practices that move proven AI uses into standard workflows, tracking impact, and stay involved in cross-team AI enablement.
