Organizational Leadership:
- Build and professionalize KCA's organizational infrastructure, systems, and operational processes.
- Translate strategic plans into clear execution plans with measurable KPIs and robust reporting frameworks.
- Drive a high-performance team culture with accountability and staff development.
Fundraising & Philanthropy:
- Grow US-based fundraising strategy, targeting significant philanthropy expansion as the organization scales.
- Cultivate relationships with major individual donors, family foundations, and corporate sponsors.
- Work with leadership to activate ambassador networks for fundraising and visibility.
Compliance & Program Management:
- Ensure fulfillment of all legal and fiduciary requirements for a US-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
- Oversee annual audits, tax compliance, and board governance with at least four meetings per year.
- Manage delivery of complex international programs, partner grants, and strategic initiatives like NICU expansion.
Experience & Environment:
- Requires 12+ years senior leadership in US nonprofit, international development, or philanthropic sector.
- Must have proven fundraising track record and fluency in US nonprofit compliance and operations.
- Comfort with ambiguity, extensive travel, and leading in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
