This role is focused entirely on compensation at dbt Labs, offering autonomy, visibility, and room for career growth. You will own the end-to-end administration of our sales compensation platform (e.g., Xactly, CaptivateIQ, or similar). Crucially you will work closely with Finance, Sales, and RevOps to implement and maintain compensation plans that align with company goals, as well as ensure timely and accurate calculation, validation, and payout of monthly/quarterly commissions.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining documentation, rules, and audit trails for all compensation-related activities; responding to inquiries from sales reps and managers around commission calculations and plan structures; identifying process improvements and automation opportunities; partnering with cross-functional teams to support compensation plan rollouts; and building reporting dashboards to track compensation effectiveness alongside overall performance.
