Distribution Alternate Project Manager

The Distribution Alternate Project Manager (DAPM) shares responsibility for the performance of work and oversight of all contract matters relating to daily operations of this contract. The position assists the Distribution Project Manager with tracking, reporting, purchasing and other administrative duties. The position is the secondary point of contact if the Distribution Project Manager is not available. This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The Alternate Distribution Project Manager shall have the ability to deploy globally in support of emerging requirements, within 48 hours of notification. Additional responsibilities include assisting in managing day-to-day execution and oversight, ensuring compliance and managing subcontractors. The position also monitors cost control, financial reports, budgeting, and overall operating costs. Recommending, developing, implementing, and enforcing procedures/programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness to the program is also a key function.
