Senior Engineering & Integration Manager

About the Role:

• This is a senior engineering leadership role for the development of a significant copper mining complex in Zambia, reporting to the Project Director.
• The role carries end-to-end accountability for the quality, integrity, and integration of all engineering across the owner's team, the EPCM, and specialist contractors.
• The successful candidate will be the technical decision-maker and design authority, responsible for safeguarding KoBold's interests through stage gates, design reviews, and construction handover to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hold and exercise design authority on behalf of KoBold, making binding technical decisions and enforcing engineering standards across all disciplines.
• Own the technical risk register, direct EPCM performance, and lead constructability, operability, and value engineering reviews.
• Oversee engineering integration, stage-gate delivery, change control, and process safety to ensure a safe, operable, and maintainable facility.

Qualifications:

• 18+ years of professional engineering experience in major capital projects in mining, minerals processing, oil and gas, or equivalent heavy industry.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects through full lifecycle from FEED to mechanical completion, including at least one project above $700M total capital cost.
• Deep experience managing and directing EPCM contractors, with strong multi-discipline technical foundation and ability to assess designs across civil, mechanical, process, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
