About the Role:
- Location: Fully remote within the continental United States.
- You'll own how Nearmap shows up for government work: setting direction for government product solutions, understanding customer needs, and shaping insights into requirements.
- This role blends strategic ownership with hands-on execution: gathering insights, writing requirements, driving delivery priorities, and tracking performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior product leaders to define product requirements and priorities for Government solutions.
- Translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Own product metrics, dig into call recordings, and lead backlog grooming with the delivery team.
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of experience in government, ideally with geospatial data and project or product leadership.
- Familiarity with government procurement and how local, state, and federal entities work.
- Skills: build business cases, write sharp requirements, communicate clearly, and juggle multiple priorities.
