Senior Product Manager, Contract

Seeking a Senior Product Manager contractor to create beta products that enable policy analysis work at scale. Lawmakers introduce an estimated 1 million pieces of policy each year, with approximately ~230,000 at the state level alone. Create beta products and prototypes that analyze these millions of words, and hundreds of thousands of policies to highlight the most climate-critical pieces of legislation nationwide. Expertise in large language models, data science techniques, and machine learning abilities will be helpful. This work builds off of 5 years of cutting-edge data science work, and an existing database that covers thousands of pieces of existing legislation and tens of thousands of policymakers considering climate policy. This is a great opportunity for someone who is equally energized by strategy, project management, and prototyping to directly support bold, equitable climate action in states and localities across the country.
