Job Description
As a Java Support Engineer, you'll influence your own development within a company offering opportunities to pursue interests and grow professionally. Responsibilities include triaging and resolving tickets from the incident queue, monitoring system alerts and responding to incidents, and participating in control callouts and outage response. The role also involves performing root cause analysis, debugging backend processes, troubleshooting REST API integrations, collaborating in an Agile environment, and maintaining documentation throughout the SDLC. The ideal candidate has a Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or related field, 4+ years of Java development experience, 2+ years of Spring Boot and Spring Framework experience, strong JavaScript skills, expertise in REST API consumption and debugging, and experience with JBoss/Apache application servers.
