Senior Software Engineer, Python

Role Overview:

• This is a senior individual contributor role on the Platform team, building and evolving the platform used by our panel and research teams.
• You will work autonomously on complex and ambiguous problems, guiding more junior engineers and contributing to engineering practices across the wider organization.
• We expect our engineers to be AI-native, using coding assistants and development agents across their daily workflow while remaining accountable for quality and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust Python services and applications serving high volumes of production traffic.
• Own your software throughout its lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, operation, monitoring, and incident response.
• Deliver your part of the team roadmap, meet reliability and performance standards, and build comprehensive automated tests.

What You Bring:

• Advanced knowledge of Python and strong experience building and operating production software.
• Experience with distributed or microservices environments, relational/document databases, Docker, and containerized applications.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and/or development agents, plus a collaborative and ownership-driven mindset.
