Platform Backend Engineer — Go/Rust & Distributed Systems

Role Overview:

• Build and operate production backend platform services for APIs, workflows, events, identity, secrets, and audit.
• Design event-driven systems with Kafka and Temporal, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop secure secrets management and KMS abstractions with envelope encryption and BYOK.
• Implement OAuth 2.0/OIDC authorization and fine-grained capability controls.
• Drive observability, incident response, and GitOps-based deployment across multi-tenant environments.

Who You Are:

• Experienced in Go or Rust with a strong grasp of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Familiar with Kafka, OAuth 2.0, cloud KMS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Comfortable owning complex infrastructure and collaborating in a high-growth engineering culture.
