Engineering Manager, Observability Dept

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage a remote team of Alloy engineers, providing regular feedback and supporting career growth through structured conversations.
• Support collaboration with the OpenTelemetry collector community and work with go-to-market teams to ensure customer success with Alloy.
• Guide projects from ideation through planning and execution, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What We Look For:

• Domain knowledge in observability and OpenTelemetry to manage a team collaborating with the OpenTelemetry community.
• Comfort working with autonomous engineering teams and maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of distributed systems principles.
• Ability to collaborate across time zones using clear communication and a deep customer focus to ground decisions in user impact.
