Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed thermal analysis of solid rocket motor components.
- Size internal insulation, external thermal protection systems, and structural insulators.
- Validate models with test data and develop predictive ablation and erosion models.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree with 5-7 years' experience in engineering discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree and experience with CAD and CAE software.
Work Environment:
- Primarily climate-controlled with occasional outdoor exposure.
- Requires stationary work at a desk and regular movement within facilities.
- Up to 25% travel may be required.
