Role Overview:
- Acts as the lead Voice/Telephony resource for Sales, Operations, Product.
- Designs, reviews, analyzes, evaluates, upgrades, expands, and troubleshoots the voice network.
- Performs routine maintenance of voice network infrastructure.
Technical Skills:
- Expert-level knowledge of VoIP and SIP protocols.
- Advanced administration and management skills with Ribbon Communications/Sonus (SBC and PSX) or AudioCodes.
- Solid understanding of IP networks and concepts (TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, VLAN, IPSEC, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Configures Ribbon Communications and AudioCodes telephony systems and SBCs.
- Plans and implements disaster recovery strategies.
- Performs both oral and written knowledge transfer and training to technical team members.
