Job Overview:
- Full-time remote Field Engineer role based in the US, focused on broadcast systems in Montana and surrounding areas.
- Requires extensive travel to transmitter sites and remote locations for installations, repairs, and training.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead technical operations including installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of broadcast equipment.
- Serve as primary escalation point for complex faults and ensure FCC compliance and site reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers, maintain documentation, and support emergency response.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 6 years in broadcast electronics or related field.
- Expert knowledge of RF, microwave, LEO satellite, and IP-based systems.
- Strong soldering skills, FCC knowledge, and proficiency with test equipment.
