Associate Director, Oncology Nurse Educators

The Associate Director is responsible for providing educational leadership, inspiring, and developing a high energy team of Oncology Nurse Educators “ONEs”, and supporting the development and execution of nursing education strategies. The AD will collaborate appropriately with cross-functional field leadership and HQ partners on strategy to provide clinically relevant, evidence-based, purposeful disease state and patient management education in support of safe and effective use of AbbVie products. The AD will appropriately collaborate with AbbVie field teams and serve as liaison with designated healthcare institutions to address education gaps through AbbVie’s Oncology Nurse Educator efforts. Ensure field-level education pull-through execution and establish peer-to-peer relationships with nursing leadership at target institutions, while maintaining high standards and patient-first mindset to support safe and effective use of AbbVie therapies. Lead, manage, and develop a team of field-based Oncology Nurse Educators (“ONEs”), ensuring that the team is fully equipped to deliver high-quality education programs. Hire and develop diverse nursing talent and provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to ONEs to help them achieve professional growth and excellence in their roles.
