Role Overview:

  • As a Clinical Documentation Review Specialist (RN), you will help medical staff clarify patient records to ensure appropriate reimbursement and reflect care complexity.
  • You will perform concurrent reviews and engage with physicians to resolve documentation gaps.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily medical record reviews on nursing units.
  • Initiate physician queries for missing, unclear, or conflicting documentation.
  • Educate patient care providers on documentation standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent and current Washington State RN license.
  • 3+ years of direct patient care experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Remote Work:

  • Equipment provided including laptop, docking station, dual monitors, and accessories.
